This is an updated version of a song I wrote more than five years ago, "The Rudy Blues," a sarcastic look at the Giuliani administration. But as Dead Kennedys noted after Reagan was elected president and they updated "California Uber Alles," originally about Governor Jerry Brown, "We've got a bigger problem now."

Woke up this morning, terror alerts on the news You know by that I got them homeland-security blues Woke up this morning, subway bombing threats are on the news What a way to start the day Those vague and scary terror-warning blues Some people say, the security blues ain't bad Distracts from the lousiest leader we've ever had All of Bush's friends they just love those security blues "We'll make lots of money, and never mind protecting you."

Subway security	We'll search backpacks!
Cops and firemen	They're in Iraq
Vaccinations	We ain't got none
Evacuation plans	Well you just better run

We've got no security, just corruption and incompetence And if we dare to criticize, Bush just says we're helping terrorists
